GST Registration

GST Number is a unique 15-digit number that is given for GST taxation and filing. When the annual revenue for manufacturing exceeds Rs. 40 lakhs and for service providers exceeds Rs. 20 lakhs, a GST number is required for all firms.

Benefits of GST Registration

GST will result in the removal of numerous indirect taxes that were previously in place. Excise, octroi, sales, service, CENVAT, turnover, and other taxes are no longer relevant and have all been consolidated under the GST tax.

Due to GST, double billing has been made obsolete for the everyday consumer. As a result, the cost of goods and services has decreased, enabling the average person to save more money.

GST is applicable at every level, from producer to final consumer. At every link in the supply chain, it offers tax credit savings. In the previous tax regime, the margin used to be added at each stage, and tax was paid on the entire amount.

The "One Nation, One Tax" principle was implemented through GST. Businesses looking toconduct interstate commerce have benefited.

The demand for certain, if not all, products has increased as a result of the GST's ability to lower product costs. The employment graph has begun to rise in response to the rise in supply and demand.

Since the GST eliminated the cascading effect of taxes, interstate taxes, and excessive logistical costs, manufacturing has become more competitive.
